CHIPBOARD
Standard chipboard
Particle board or chipboard is composed of wood chips crushed and reduced to a certain humidity in the drying kiln. Once sieved, glues and thermosetting substances are added to form a quality chipboard to which heat and pressure are applied until the board is obtained.
As a result, our particle board offers excellent value for money, with stable, uniform characteristics, good strength under standard conditions and ease of machining.
The emissions of the glues used in this product comply with the mandatory E1 standard, and CARB 2 on request.

● Sandwich panels.
Moisture resistant chipboard
Moisture resistant particleboard is characterised by a higher resistance to water and humidity than standard boards. It is made of wood particles, which are bonded together with special synthetic resins that give it this property.
For better differentiation from other particleboards, MR PB is colour-coded with green pigment, as shown in the picture below.
Characteristics
-
● Moisture resistance: prevents water seepage.
● Low transverse swelling (thickness).
● Easy to work with conventional carpentry tools.
● Smooth surface.
Applications
-
● Kitchen and bathroom furniture.
● Areas requiring protection against moisture.
● Self-supporting components in construction and transport.
● Partitions.
Fire-resistant chipboard
Finally, fire-retardant particleboards are available on request, which have a higher fire resistance than standard boards.
The fire-retardant panels are manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN 312 – type P2. For better differentiation from other particleboards, PB FR is colour-coded with red pigment, as shown in the picture below.
Characteristics
-
● Flame retardant: ability not to contribute to the spread of fire and not to form droplets when burning.
● Low transverse swelling (thickness).
● Easy to work with conventional carpentry tools.
● Smooth surface.
● Same degree of strength in different directions.
Applications
-
● Furniture components.
● In public spaces subject to rigorous fire risk assessment.
● Non load-bearing internal wall and ceiling linings, partitions.
● Buildings and comercial spaces.
● Exhibitions (displays, kiosks).
